German Groba

Brings over 25 years of leadership experience with global entertainment giants such as The Walt Disney Company, Paramount, EMI, and Warner Music. 
 

He is a recognized expert in TV production, executive leadership, co-productions & partnership models, marketing, streaming (AVOD & SVOD), the music industry, live events, and artist representation.
 

Before founding GREATGOOD Media, German served as General Manager and Head of TV & Brands at Paramount International, across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and Latin America; leading a Global team of 400+ professionals across marketing, digital strategy, content strategy, content development, production, acquisitions, and business intelligence.

He managed a P&L exceeding €800 million, overseeing 400+ digital and linear platforms.
 

An accomplished executive producer, German launched 30+ global reality show franchises for MTV, produced major digital and pop culture award shows, and led the expansion of 300+ channels on Pluto TV across 7 markets, as well as 4 Paramount+ services. 
 

He led creative campaigns earning 40+ Promax International Awards, including Global Excellence honors.
 

Previously, at The Walt Disney Company, as Director of Content Strategy for Disney Channels Latin America, German led content strategy, acquisitions, co-productions, editorial standards, and promotional planning across 15+ platforms. 
 

Under his leadership, Disney’s TV division achieved 65% market share in Kids & Family TV, with Disney Junior becoming the region’s fastest-growing preschool brand; and the YouTube branded Channel of Disney channel securing a Diamond Award.
 

German also played a key role in franchise synergy and content strategy for Marvel, Star Wars, LEGO, Violetta, Descendants, and Disney Princesses, collaborating with Disney Theatrical, Parks, Live Entertainment, and Consumer Products.
 

Beyond his business achievements, German is a natural advocate for diversity and inclusion, having led award-winning global social impact and corporate responsibility initiatives.
 

German’s leadership style is formed by training in emotional and neuro-leadership, agile methodologies, and unconscious bias, making him a trusted expert in building high-performing and innovative teams.
